Hi!! New updates on our blog!! Go check them out in the drop-down on the top right!! In this section you will find which drone are we using, all the components (price and link to buy it), how to build the HEXSOON EDU450 and some tips to do it. Have a nice day and see you flying!!!
Today we have finally tested the flight of our drone for the first time. It has been a very stable flight, although the drone was very light , it was also windy and it was a bit difficult to keep it in stable flight. The main problem we had was a RC calibration problem. RC, initially appeared to be well calibrated from the factory, however sometimes they are not calibrated correctly. Although the calibration from the software was correct, the hardware calibration was not. It is therefore a fact to take into account the next time we mount a drone.
I am attaching you the link where you can see our colleague Hector flying de drone at our facilities at UPC Castelldefels.
Well done and congratulations!!!
Tomorrow, on wednesday we are going to fly for the first time our drone at UPC. After having some issues with the RC calibration we will test the drone. Looking forward to film it and show the results in our blog.
Continuing with the blog and trying to improve our knowledge about drones, I am attaching a link where the differences between the two main types of batteries used, characteristics and meaning of each of the parameters are explained very well.
As part of the blog and assembly 1 part, I would like to attach you a link where you can have the specifications of the Pixhawk Orange Cube autopilot.
There are many data but I am attaching the features, as you can see the latest version has ADS-B, Iridium communication, etc.
Features.
