The aim of this second phase is to apply the different knowledge in the subjects seen, such as Payload and Unmanned Aircraft in order to develope an application that involves this knowledge. The first idea that we have is to install an Intel RealSense camera on the Drone in order to detect obstacles and avoid them using a Python script running in the on-board computer Raspberry Pi.
First of all, some previous activities will be explained in order to get to know more about the Mission Planner software and see what capabilities it has.
We advance here that, activity #11 is about in simulating flights with the simulator that is available in Mission Planner, the SITL (Software In The Loop). On the other hand, in #12, we will use this SITL but otherwise, using a Python script . So, we can apply the knowledge of Python that have been acquired in the subject of Payload in order to perform this activity and also, the knowledge learned in Unmanned Aircraft in order to install the RealSense camera in our platform https://linxlegal.com/westgate/, and use it all together.
