During the 1 phase of our transversal project we had issues using mission planner (MP) on Mac OS system. Mission planner is not compatible with Macs, it’ works only on Windows. But ArduPilot offering to use APM planner for Macs instead of MP. Latest version available on website is apm_planner_2.0.26_osx.dmg release of 2018. But Macs systems updating very often and not all of the software developers are doing such updates. After several attempts we found that there are no possibility to use ArduPilot software on latest Mac OS systems. The decision was found is to use MP on emulated windows in Mac OS.

In this activity we repeated ESC calibration procedure and used it for future settings.
ESC calibration sequence:
1. Disconnect the battery and USB.
2. Throttle up position at the remote controller.
3. Connect the battery (you have to wait for a sequence of beep signals).
4. Disconnect the battery again.
5. Connect the battery again (wait for 4 beeps).
6. Throttle down position.
ESC calibrated. You can check motors moving throttles carefully up.
P.S.
Previous activities was done correctly without any doubts so we didn’t took time to repeat them.
