It is a very interesting project and a good way to approach the world of drones, especially for those who have never had contact before. It is a very meticulous process in which you have to check each step several times and above all not lose heart<\/em>. If something is failing sooner or later you will find the fault and the reason why it failed. I would recommend before starting the assembly to review the list of all the elements and watch the related videos. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Knowing the function and features of the elements can save yourself of some mistakes. I have to say that in the videos in youtube there is a lot of information, but it is not all there and it is certainly necessary to consult the specifications or consult some blogs to find the answers. I would personally divide the complexity of this first phase of the project into three blocks. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n One part would be the complexity of correctly assembling the parts and equipment (order and priority of cables, position of the GPS or autopilot with respect to the central body, the order of the engines, etc, the mechanical part<\/em>). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Another part would be the connection of the hardware with its software (flashing the flight controller,calibration of Rc with the receiver, installation of mission planner, installing firmware, check the right model (multicopter 4) check that all the cables are well connected, check the speed port of your PC, check the driver for the GPS (full parameters list), check that the GPS type in the mission planner is the one that you have mounted, calibrate the accelerometer and so on so on. For me, this has been the most challenging part.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n And finally, the flight.
